We hope you are enjoying the summer weather and making the best of the remaining days of the holidays. Heard someone say recently, “It’s just three weeks before we’re back again!” Does that sound familiar?
Arts Week is in full swing in Kilkenny and there’s a great “buzz” about the town. Some of our members are involved in exhibiting their work and you might like to visit their displays during the week.
Pauline O’ Brien and Denis O’ Reilly are both members of Kilkenny Photographic Society and have work on display in MacDonagh Junction (unit next door to Quigley’s Coffee shop). They are among 53 members of the Photography Club who are exhibiting their work. Well worth a visit!!
Pauline’s theme is: Walking in Corca Dhuibhne
“Inis Tuaisceart is one of many images I captured while walking in Corca Dhuibhne taking in some spectacular sea views, Na Blascaoidí and Headlands from Dúnchaoin to Ceann Sibéal”
“Bain Taithneamh”
Denis works mainly in flower photography and his images capture the beauty of flowers in their colour, shape and form. He uses textures to create a painterly feel.

Do pay them a visit during the week. The exhibition is open daily from 10am to 6pm. Please let us know if there are any other members with exhibitions.
