Our AGM and Christmas Lunch were a huge success. This was the first full AGM since the outbreak of Covid and 52 members turned out for AGM 2022. Chairman, Denis O’ Reilly, welcomed everyone, especially all the new members who have joined in the last 2 years. The business of the day was dealt with promptly and efficiently. The outgoing officers were all unanimously returned and we were delighted that 3 new members have joined the committee.

Once the formal part of the gathering was dealt with we were treated to a glass of mulled wine. 95 members joined us for lunch which was very relaxing and gave members a chance to catch up, renew friendships and acquaintances. We were delighted to welcome many new members for the first time and we encouraged them to continue to join in our regular activities. Many members were delighted to go home with a ‘spot prize’. Thanks to Maria Kelly who organised this part of the event.

It was a very successful day thanks to our secretary, Marian and treasurer, Pauline. Everyone had a great time and thanks to the staff of the Rivercourt Hotel for a lovely meal.
