We hope you are keeping safe and well and enjoying the lovely Autumn sunshine. When we sent out our newsletter in August we announced a Photography Competition for members. The closing date is this Friday, 18th September. We have some entries but we would like some more. Here’s a reminder of the details:

It’s an OPEN competition in that there’s no theme. Your entry can be landscape, seascape, portrait, family event, still life, family pet etc. NO NUDITY please. Limited to 2 entries per member. Entries should be sent by email to rtakilkenny@gmail.com

Please make sure to include your name in the email as some email addresses don’t make it easy to identify the sender. Also include a title/s for your photo/s. We would like to feature some of the entries on our website so unless you inform us otherwise we assume permission to do this. The closing date for entries is Friday, 18th September.

Prizes: 1st €50,  2nd €30,  3rd €20. (Book or meal Tokens)

We hope you liked the card you received with the newsletter. Many members commented very favourably on them and some have asked if they can buy a selection. Well the answer is YES you can. They are available from Marian 0876742884. They cost €10 for a packet of 8 with envelopes. You can select the 8 of your choice. See the template below. Profits from the sale of cards will be donated to charity. CHARITY TO BE DECIDED.
