The local branch of the INTO hosted a retirement dinner for recently retired teachers from the Kilkenny City and South Kilkenny branches. The event was held in the Rivercourt Hotel, on Friday, 5th June. A presentation was made to each of the retirees by Brendan Horan, President of the INTO.
The retirees honoured were Mildred Grace, Irene Deasy, Irene Browne, Geraldine Patterson, Pádraig Crowley, Caroline McPhillips, Mary O’Brien, Margo Brennan and Margaret Lowry (South Kilkenny)
We wish all the retirees every happiness and many new adventures in their retirement.
